May 14 - 18

Another great week has come and gone! I can’t believe only two weeks remain. Next week in math, we will finish our Google SketchUp projects and begin an A-Z math project where students search for real life math examples in magazines and newspapers. If you have old newspapers or school appropriate magazines that you do not want, please send them to school with your child. During science, we will continue to study the life cycles of plants and animals. In our language arts block, we are going to finish our animal research and put together our presentations. Homework next week will follow the usual pattern, except there will be no spelling. Please don’t forget that the Book Fair is next week. Also, our last field trip will take place next Thursday, May 17th. We are heading to the Long Center to listen to the Austin Symphony. Unfortunately, there is no room for chaperones. Thank you all very much for your continuous support throughout the school year. Have a wonderful weekend!
