April 29 - May 3

It feels great to have all our major tests behind us! We should get the results some time towards the end of May. Next week, we will resume our normal schedule. In math, students will learn how to measure angles. During science, students will study the basic needs of organisms and their environments. In social studies, students will study how important events have impacted Texas such as the Dust Bowl and WWII. During language arts, students will read and write persuasive texts. Tuesday night at 5:00 is Jumpoline Night, and Wednesday is Early Release. Please don't forget that Friday is Field Day. Fourth grade Field Day is from 12:00-2:45. Please make sure your child brings water and sun protection. One last thing, I am sending home Spring Conference Forms. Spring conferences are not required, but I am happy to meet with anyone who requests a conference. Please complete the conference form and return it to me by Friday, May 3rd. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Have a wonderful weekend!

Mrs. Drain
