We only have two weeks left in the first nine weeks grading period. I can't believe how fast this year is going! Next week in math, students will finish studying table relationships and begin studying time, temperature, and graphs. In science, students will study forms of energy. During social studies, we will continue to study the Native Americans of Texas. In writing, students will begin another expository composition. They will write about their hero and explain why this person is special to them. During reading, we will continue to read and discuss expository texts. Please remember that Monday is a student holiday. Next Thursday, October 17th, is picture day. Order forms were sent home today if you would like to purchase a school picture. Homework next week will follow the same pattern. As always, feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Have a wonderful weekend!
Mrs. Drain
