November 18 - 22

I can't believe Thanksgiving is right around the corner. This year is really flying by. Next week in math, students will start a fractions unit. In science, they will study composition of soil. During social studies, students will learn about early explorers of Texas. In reading, we will study literary nonfiction, and in writing we will research a person of importance. Homework next week will follow the usual pattern. Please don't forget that next Thursday is our Thanksgiving lunch. Our lunch time is different only on this day. We will eat lunch at 1:03. Make sure your child has a healthy snack to eat that morning to hold them over until lunch.
