This semester is flying by! Next week in math, students will begin a measurement unit. In science, they will study the water cycle. During social studies, they will continue to learn about Texas Independence. In writing, we will write expository compositions, and in reading we will read expository texts and discuss the author's purpose. Please don't forget that next Wednesday is Early Release. All students will be dismissed at 12:45. Next Thursday is class picture day. Order forms are coming home in Thursday folders today. Also, we still need lots of Hershey Kisses (no nuts) and plastic sandwich bags for our Kiss-O-Gram fundraiser. Please send these to school with your child as soon as possible.
