I can't believe it is already the last week of February. We only have four instructional weeks until we take the Writing STAAR Tests. That means we will be very busy. In math, students will continue to study measurement, and in science they will continue to study patterns on Earth. During social studies, students will learn about Texas independence. In reading, we will read expository texts and discuss the text structure. During writing, we will write an expository composition about an important item. Homework next week will follow the usual pattern. Next Tuesday, all students are taking a math CBA. Please make sure your child gets plenty of sleep the night before and eats a filling breakfast.
