I am so excited to meet with you all on Monday for our fall goal setting conferences! Please be prompt since most conferences are back to back and only last for 15 minutes each. If anything changes please let me know as soon as possible. This coming week in math we will continue searching for patterns and relationships within sets of data and tables, and we will assess on Friday. In science we will begin a new unit focusing all on energy. The Native Americans project has been pushed back a little, but will finally wrap up this week. We will also begin studying the European explorers who ventured through Texas. In language arts we will present our biographies and then begin writing a personal narrative. Your child will be asked to write about a journey or trip he/she has taken. We will also read Sacagawea and discuss main ideas and details. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Hook ‘Em Horns!!
