I can’t believe the first semester has come and gone. We have accomplished so much, but still have a long way to go. When we come back from our nice two week break we will begin studying decimals and relating them to fractions in math. In science we will learn about natural resources, renewable resources, and nonrenewable resources. During social studies we will discuss The Republic of Texas. In our language arts block we will write a personal narrative about a time we will never forget. We will also read a play and discuss text features, setting, characters, and plot. Please make sure that your child reads over the break. I hope everyone has a restful and safe holiday break. I’m looking forward to seeing you all next year!
