One more week to go, but who’s counting? This coming week in math we will wrap up our fractions unit. In science we will finish studying changes to the earth. During our social studies/language arts block we will start compiling our summaries, cause/effect relationships, character studies, and vocabulary booklets into one giant compare/contrast book of the Texas Revolution and The Mystery of the Alamo Ghost. There will not be any spelling next week. We will have math homework on Monday and Wednesday, and reading homework on Tuesday and Thursday. Please remember that Friday is the last day of this nine weeks. All assignments and missing work must be turned in by then. Also, don’t forget about our field trip to the University of Texas on Wednesday. We will leave from school at 9:15 and should return around 2:00. Lastly, thank you all for your holiday party donations. We have just about everything we need except icing and plastic knives. Please let me know if you are able to bring any of these items.
