What a great past week! I am sure next week will be just as great. In math, students will finish studying table relationships and take a test on Friday. During science, we will continue to study changes from heat and take a test over the unit on Friday. In social studies, students will continue to study Native Americans that lived in Texas. During language arts, students will learn how to revise their expository essays and publish them at the end of the week. Also, we will be reading nonfiction passages and discussing stated and implied purposes for writing. Please remember that Parent Conference Day is Monday. I am asking everyone to be prompt because the schedule is very packed. Also, we have another PTA meeting on Tuesday, October 9th at 6:30. A free health fair will take place immediately following the PTA meeting. One last thing...International Fair is Thursday, October 18th. We are still in need of volunteers to set-up and run tables for different countries. I really appreciate all of your support this past month! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Have a great weekend!

Check out this video from our Anti-Bullying Assembly this morning. Yes, that is me holding on for dear life.
