After all our hard work, we have finally reached the big month of April. This coming week is extremely important because all fourth graders will be taking the Writing STAAR Test on Tuesday, April 2nd and Wednesday, April 3rd. This is a two day test with 4 hours of testing each day. During the 4 hours, students will be asked to write a composition and answer revising/editing multiple choice questions. One of the days the students will have to write a personal narrative, and the other day they will have to write an expository composition. I do not know the order of the compositions. All of my students have worked so hard this year, and I know that they are ready. Please do your part to help them do their very best during these tests by ensuring that they go to bed early, eat a filling and nutritious breakfast, and arrive to school plenty early in a good mood.
