I can't believe a month of school has already passed. I am very proud of how hard all my students are working. Next week in math, students will finish up their multiplication unit and begin studying table relationships. In science, students will study how matter changes states. During social studies, students will learn about the Native Americans that lived in Texas. In reading, we will continue to read expository texts and discuss main idea/details and summaries. During writing, we will organize, plan, and draft an expository composition about a future job. Homework next week will follow the same pattern. Please remember fall conferences will be held from September 30th to October 11th before school, during my planning period (10:30-11:20) or after school. If you have not signed up for a conference yet, please click on the Conference Sign-Up link on the left side of my blog. As always, feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Have a great weekend!
Mrs. Drain
