I can't believe we are already halfway through the first 9 weeks. Next Thursday, I am sending home a progress report with every child. Please look it over and send it back to school on Friday signed. In math next week, students will continue to learn multiplication strategies. During science, students will classify matter. In social studies, students will continue studying the regions of Texas. During language arts, we will begin an expository unit. Students will read nonfiction texts for meaning and understanding. During writing, we will begin brainstorming ideas for an expository composition. Next Wednesdays is Early Release. All students will be dismissed at 12:45. Also, next week is our Education Go Get It Week. We are asking students to participate by wearing specific attire for each day of the week.
