Only two more weeks of fourth grade left! I can't believe how fast this year has passed. Next week in math, students will continue to study and measure angles. In science, they will learn about food chains, food webs, and ecosystems. During social studies, they will learn about modern day Texas. In language arts, we will continue to study persuasive texts and complete a persuasive project. We will also continue to read from the novel, Island of the Blue Dolphins. Please don't forget that we are going to the symphony on Tuesday. Students are encouraged to dress nicely for this field trip. All grades are due next Friday, May 23rd, which means all assignments must be turned in no later than Thursday, May 22nd. As always, feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
