It's crazy to think it is already November. I am very proud of how hard all my students have worked over the past two months. I know that this will continue for the rest of the year. Next week in math, students will continue to study division. In science, they will discuss electricity, insulators, and conductors. On Monday, students will complete an investigation in the science lab. If you would like to volunteer during the investigation, please email Ms. Leining. During social studies, students will learn about early colonies in Texas. In language arts, we will continue to explore poetry. Students will read and write poetry using the structural elements of poetry and language that produces imagery. Please remember that report cards for the first nine weeks will be sent home on Tuesday. One copy is for you to keep, the other copy needs to be signed and returned to me. Also, our Explorer Excellence Awards Ceremony is Tuesday from 8:45-9:30 in the cafeteria. One last thing, we have found a replacement for Class Dojo! We will be using a program called Edmodo. This program is a secure and safe network for children. Edmodo is approved by Round Rock ISD. As always, feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you all for your continuous support. Have a great weekend!
Mrs. Drain
